What we process

DomainDowse processes account details, saved research, search preferences, portfolio information and technical security logs. During the private beta, first-party product events record actions such as completed searches and sanitised error summaries. Form contents, passwords and payment details are not included in product-event metadata.

Why we process it

We use this information to provide and secure the research platform, improve the beta experience, deliver requested alerts, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Marketing email requires separate, optional consent.

Cookies and analytics

DomainDowse uses an essential secure session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. The current beta does not use third-party advertising trackers. Account-linked first-party operational events are stored in the application database.

Providers and transfers

Depending on enabled features, data may be processed by our hosting, email, AI and live-data providers. Credentials remain server-side. AI and registrar results are labelled by source and evidence type inside the product.

Retention and your rights

You can export your account data or request account deletion from Account settings. Account deletion anonymises the profile and invalidates sessions. Security, audit or transaction records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, reconciliation or legal obligations.
